The BACHELOR OF SCIENCE IN INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGY (BSIT) BSIT is a four-year undergraduate degree program and approved its offering through Resolution No. 18, s. 2010 by the Board of Regents of Isabela State University and granted Certificate of Program Compliance with COPC No. 003 series 2018 on the 27th day of July 2018 at CHEDRO 2, Tuguegarao City, Province of Cagayan, Philippines guided by the provisions of  Republic Act No. 7722, otherwise known as the “Higher Education Act of 1994”, and CHED Memorandum Order No.56 series of 2007, “Policies and Standards for the Ladderized Bachelor of Technical Teacher Education”.

The need for a well-educated and skilled workforce in the field of Industrial Technology is considered an important factor in the advancement of the country, thus, the BSIT program was designed to provide students with quality education and training for the production and manufacturing manpower skills, capable of performing the technical, managerial, research and entrepreneurial roles and functions.  The Industrial Technology program of ISU-Angadanan has been identified as the flagship program of Isabela State University-Angadanan Campus and a niche program for automotive technology in the entire university system. Hence, in response to the call of times and as it keeps on developing itself to provide a program that will cater to the needs of its clientele and stakeholders and meet the demands of the industries, the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Course is now offered with the following major field of specializations:

The Program has been officially awarded Level III Re-Accredited by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP, Inc.) on August 18, 2023.

         In line with Isabela State University’s vision and mission, the Polytechnic School is tasked to respond to the needs for well-trained industrial skilled workers, technicians, technologists, and managers of industries.

Goals of the BSIT Program

  1. The program aims to produce professionally competent, socially conscious, proactive, and God-fearing graduates with leadership potential in Industrial Technology.
  • The program aims to develop highly competent and motivated skilled professionals, technicians, and mechanics in a specific field of expertise.
  • The industrial technology curriculum shall impart a body of knowledge, skills, attitudes, and values in the areas of manufacturing and packaging process, mechanical, electrical, and electronics systems, quality assurance and control, production and operations management, and manufacturing facility planning and design.

PROGRAM  OUTCOMES

            The graduates of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology (BS InTech) program must be able to:

1. Exhibit competencies in the chosen area of Industrial Technology;

2. Utilize broad theoretical knowledge and skills in the chosen field of specialization;

3. Apply middle-level managerial skills in the realm of industrial and corporate organizations;
