Isabela State University Angadanan Campus (ISU-AC) continues its initiatives to strengthen global partnerships, fostering knowledge sharing and academic development through its renewed engagement with The International Institute of Knowledge Management (TIIKM). This collaboration reinforces their shared commitment to Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 17-โ€œPartnerships for the Goals.โ€

On March 20, 2025, ISU-AC hosted a preliminary meeting with TIIKM at the Office of the Campus Administrator conference room, with the approval of the Office of the University Director of External Linkages and International Affairs. The event, led by ISU Angadanan Campus Administrator Dr. Oscar G. Bangayan, Dr. Ronie G. Torres, Program Chair of the Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology, and Ms. Deanne Angel M. Luis, Campus Director for External Linkages and International Affairs, served as a platform to discuss the potential expansion of collaborations with TIIKM.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Warlito D. Antonio, Campus Director for Academic Affairs; Dr. Romel B. Cristobal, Campus Director for Research and Development; Dr. Ronald B. Rivera, Campus Director for Extension and Training Services; Dr. Josephine R. Domingo, Campus Director for Administration and Finance Services; Dr. Restituto C. Miguel, Campus Director for NSTP; and Industrial Technology faculty members.

Mr. Isanka Gamage, Co-Founder and Managing Director of TIIKM, took the time to visit the campus and provided an insightful overview of the organizationโ€™s mission and global impact. TIIKMโ€™s extensive academic network spans Asia, Africa, Europe, South America, and Oceania, providing invaluable opportunities for ISU-AC faculty and students to engage in international research initiatives, conferences, and publication programs.

The meeting concluded with an open forum facilitated by Ms. Luis, where the upcoming partnership for NUTRICON 2025 in Bangkok, Thailand was discussed. Furthermore, the participants were given the opportunity to raise inquiries regarding TIIKMโ€™s programs and initiatives.

This recent engagement marks another milestone in the enduring partnership between ISU-AC and TIIKM, which began in 2023 when the university participated in the 5th International Conference on Food, Nutrition, Health, and Lifestyle (NUTRICON 2023). That collaboration enabled ISU-AC researchers to showcase groundbreaking studies in food innovation and sustainability, reinforcing the universityโ€™s commitment to SDG 2 (Zero Hunger) and SDG 3 (Good Health and Well-Being).

Through these international collaborations, ISU-AC remains committed to the pursuit of excellence in research-driven education, ensuring its continuous contributions to sustainable solutions and academic innovation far beyond the borders of the Philippines.
