
Isabela State University – Angadanan Campus (ISU-AC) continues to strengthen its role as a contributor to global academic discourse by sending two faculty members to present their research at the 2nd International Summit on Educational Management and Emerging Technology, held at the Holiday Inn Express in Kuala Lumpur City Centre, Malaysia, on February 22–23, 2025.
The summit focused on integrating emerging technologies and leveraging digital strategies to enhance education, directly supporting SDG 4 – Quality Education, which seeks to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education while promoting lifelong learning opportunities for all. The keynote address by Alan Tupicoff, highlighting international perspectives on sustainable educational management, further emphasized the importance of global collaboration in advancing education.

Representing ISU-AC, Mr. Paulino V. Derilo and Ms. Deanne Angel M. Luis delivered insightful presentations showcasing innovative pedagogical research. Mr. Derilo presented his study on the “Proficiency of Students’ Performance in Macro Skills” using digitized materials, while Ms. Luis shared her research on the “Implementation of the Performing Arts at School Program: Perspectives and Attitudes of Teachers and Students.”
Their active participation enriched the conference, fostering innovation and collaboration. The faculty returned with a renewed perspective on the transformative potential of technology and the performing arts in education. Their contributions reinforce ISU-AC’s commitment to pursuing global partnerships (SDG 17 – Partnerships for the Goals) and applying newly acquired knowledge to advance quality education in the Philippines.
