In a resounding acknowledgment of effectiveness and efficiency, Isabela State University Vice President for Administrative and Finance Services, Atty. Romano P. Cammayo applauded ISU-Angadanan Campus’ Cashier Office for its outstanding performance in financial management.
The commendation came after the Commission on Audit (COA) conducted a thorough examination of the campus’ cash transactions for the period from July 13, 2022, to July 31, 2023, revealing a spotless report with “no shortage nor overage.”
At the forefront of this achievement is Mrs. Charita P. Asis, MMBA, Administrative Officer IV/Campus Cashier, with the help of Ms. Marilyn M. Bagaoisan, Administrative Aide III.
In a letter addressed to the Office of the Campus Administrator and approved by University President Prof. Dr. Ricmar P. Aquino, Atty. Cammayo expressed his commendation and congratulations to Mrs. Asis for a job well done, recognizing her pivotal role in maintaining the financial integrity of the university. The letter not only acknowledged her individual efforts but also underscored her contribution to the overall efficiency of Isabela State University.
This recognition is not a solitary occurrence for Mrs. Asis, who has already earned accolades based on COA’s findings in the past. In an interview, she expressed her gratitude to the university for the appreciation, emphasizing the collaborative effort that contributes to the success of the Cashier Office. Her commitment to upholding financial integrity and transparency has been a cornerstone of her tenure.
As ISU-AC continues to thrive under the leadership of dedicated individuals like Mrs. Asis, the university community can take pride in a commitment to excellence that extends beyond academic achievements. The commendation serves as a reminder of the vital role played by administrative units in fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency within educational institutions.
