Isabela State University – Angadanan Campus, in partnership with Smart Communications, has started distributing LTE Pocket Wi-Fi units to ISUans from October 6, 2020, onwards.The 25 units, which were gifted by Smart, were distributed across all of the departments of the campus, taking into consideration the total number of students in each program. With the help of the Deans, Program Chairs, and faculty members, the Campus Management Information System Office, headed by Prof. Eugelyn R. Felix, was able to determine 25 students from various departments who were in dire need of an internet connection. The number of potential users for each unit was also taken into account in the selection of the recipients, in order to maximize its utilization. Each unit also includes a sim card with 200 pesos worth of load to jumpstart the recipients’ studies.
