With the expected influx of students in the coming months, Isabela State University – Angadanan Campus conducted a meeting with the Angadanan Tricycle Operators and Drivers’ Association (ATODA) officers on March 25, 2022, at the Campus Academic and Related Affairs Director’s office to discuss student fare concerns for the reopening of 100% classroom capacity this second semester.

Dr. Warlito D. Antonio, Campus ARA Director, explained that the consultation aimed to discuss the increase of fare rates from students’ respective barangays to ISU-AC and vice versa during the New Normal setup and how it compares from the regular rates prior to the pandemic.

The agreed-upon fare rates from this consultation will be presented during the LF2F Classes 100% Classroom Capacity Stakeholder’s Consultation Meeting on Tuesday, March 29, 2022, as provided by CMO 1, S. 2022 Supplemental Guidelines of CHED-DOH JMC No 2021-20-004.

According to the ATODA President, Mr. Arnel Gumpal, the association is willing to make adjustments to help lessen the transportation cost of the students for the reopening.

ATODA will also conduct a meeting with its officers to disseminate the new fare rates to its members.
