In preparation for the University’s intention to reopen the campuses for 100% classroom capacity, Isabela State University Angadanan Campus conducted a Stakeholders’ Consultation Meeting on CMO No. 1 Series of 2022, Supplemental Guidelines to CHED-DOH Joint Memorandum Circular (JMC) no. 2021-004, on March 29, 2022, via zoom.

Dr. Warlito D. Antonio, Campus Academic and Related Affairs Director, discussed additional guidelines for the operations of limited face-to-face classes of Higher Education Institutions (HEIS) under alert level 1.

The meeting was divided into two separate sessions to accommodate all students. The morning session was reserved for Polytechnic School, College of Education and Diploma in Agricultural Technology – Bachelor in Agricultural Technology, while College of Criminal Justice Education, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management were accommodated in the afternoon.

During the open forum, student concerns regarding PhilHealth registration, transportation/lodging issues, class scheduling and F2F rules were discussed.

“ISU Angadanan has considered the implementation of the 100% having been issued the Certificate of Compliance based on CHED-DOH-JMC No. 2021-004 and likewise issued with Safety Seal Certification by the DILG/MLGOO.” said Dr. Antonio.

He explained that the implementation of the 100% capacity or full-blown LF2F classes depends on the campus’ readiness and the results of the survey conducted during the stakeholder’s consultation meeting.

“Since the implementation of LF2F Classes is voluntary, the results of the survey will dictate our next plan. However, our Campus is ready and already compliant with the requirements of both the DILG and CHED-DOH JMC.” he added.
