As the campus gears up for another year of Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) accreditations, Isabela State University Angadanan Campus recently conducted a Meeting cum-Workshop for the 2024 Accreditation of Academic Programs on January 12, 2024, 9:00 AM, at the Campus Library, exemplifying the institution’s relentless pursuit of academic distinction.

Aligned with the campusโ€™ commitment to providing quality education and services to its clients, the event aimed to fortify the Accreditation Task Force with the knowledge and skills essential to successfully navigate the AACCUP accreditation. Simultaneously, it offers an opportunity for the task force to strategically plan its actions for the entire year, aligning with the institution’s dedication to excellence in education.

In harmony with the global commitment to Sustainable Development Goal 4- Quality Education, the event strives to ensure that education remains inclusive, equitable, and of the highest quality for the benefit of students and the broader community.

Led by Prof. Dr. Warlito D. Antonio, Campus Director for Academic Affairs and Quality Assurance, the event encompasses a thorough examination of the Status of Academic Programs Accreditation, shedding light on the accreditation standing of the different programs. This crucial segment involves a thorough review and a summary of findings and recommendations from AACCUP. Certified accreditors on campus collaborate to identify the most effective course of action, fostering collaboration and skill development among all participants.

The latter part of the event delves into meticulous preparations, including the Preparation of Compliance Report, crafting Program Performance Profiles (PPP) for Level 1-3 Phase 1, and the Gathering, Preparation, and Packaging of Documents. The discussion also covers areas for selection and Narrative Profile preparation, along with insights into the Q&A for Level 3 and best practices to be observed before and during the accreditation proper, facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ronnie G. Torres, Director of the Polytechnic School.

Prof. Dr. Antonio emphasizes the importance of this activity, stating, โ€œThe activity is very important in order to set the direction and provide everyone a clear view and understanding that in all kinds of endeavor planning always come first before execution. As they say, Proper Planning Prevent Poor Performance (5Ps).โ€

“I want to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Antonio for spearheading the event. This initiative is pivotal in shaping the future of our institution, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed the standards of excellence providing a transformative and enriching educational experience for our students.” as Prof. Dr. Oscar G. Bangayan, ISU-ACโ€™s Campus Administrator, expressed his gratitude for the initiative.

As the dawn of a new day unfolds, the campus continues to fortify its intellectual strongholds, unsheathes its swords of knowledge, and readies its catapults of fortitude for its imminent academic battles and endeavors, exemplifying its steadfast pursuit of nothing less than victory on its journey towards excellence.
